This has been a long time coming… Following our sold-out NYE blowout, Bassnectar returns to Atlanta, GA in Alpharetta at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre @ Encore Park for two very special shows alongside Pretty Lights on Friday 14th October and Saturday 15th October, 2011! This is an All Ages event! In addition to co-headlining the bill with Pretty Lights, we are excited to welcome special guests Beats Antique, Big Gigantic, Bonobo and SuperDre to the line-up for this two night event! The Bassnectar team is thrilled to bring you the first ever BASS ISLAND adventure, part one in a spellbinding trilogy of music, art, and culture that will unfold on the beautiful South Island Field at Governors Island, New York City, on August 13th, 2011. We want to create a unique world to explore, beyond the realms of a normal concert experience. Much like the regional Bass Center events, we expect to ram this island to the gills with freaks and bass heads, as it is our only stop in NYC for the rest of the year. Bass Heads! Last weekend at Red Rocks was a genuinely magical experience. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to be a part of it, my entire crew is still beaming!!! In addition to our Red Rocks show, the entire festival season has been utterly next level, with so many wonderful people contributing to each event and making every one into a family affair. We are extremely excited to unleash the new Bassnectar album, Divergent Spectrum – 13 tracks that span the distance between diverse extremes. We have a lot leading up to the release on August 2nd, including a single, some free downloads, contests, and sneak peeks, so stay tuned… And you know we are gonna come steamrolling through your town with a buckwild roadshow this fall on the 2011 Divergent Spectrum Tour.
