New Year’s Eve is coming, and we are taking over the musical metropolis of Nashville to usher in the new eon with unparalleled bass explorations. Oh yes. To celebrate this grand happening, we’re running another poster contest with our friends over at Creative Allies. We want YOU to design an official poster for Bassnectar New Year’s Eve Nashville! The winner will receive $500 cash prize, as well as 2 VIP tickets to this sold-out show. We want to see some mind-bending designs! Think outside the box and deliver the unexpected. If you need some inspiration or guidance, try to incorporate the a “New Year” theme – beginnings and endings, the passing of time, personal change or looking back through time on a different self.
Greetings friends to the north! We are gearing up for the final leg of our Fall Tour this week; a 4-city blitz of bass in a slightly different format. This is the grand finale of the biggest, heaviest, most insane tour in Bassnectar history, and we have set up 4 central targets for ‘regional event explosions’ – inspired by road trips and bass centers. It is an annual ritual to travel up to Canada at this time each year, but we have never had the chance of bringing the full scale heat with us, and now we do. And as usual, each show will be packed with freaks and brimming with it's own personality:
Greetings Bassnectar Family! The past three months have been completely bonkers. Night after night, venues have been stuffed with thousands of eager bassheads, all of them united in their love for Bass Music. Clearly some of you are ready to take this love to the next level, and the next level is what we’re all about. As the Divergent Spectrum Tour comes to a close, we shift our focus to coming together in order to ring in the new year. Bassnectar’s New Years Eve events have a reputation for being the epitome of a Bassnectar show, featuring cutting edge production, special effects, and a jaw-dropping light show. Events such as these are ground zero for Bass Culture, acting as a lightning rod for participation from the larger Bass Community that drives the show as much as the event production.
