NYE is finally upon us: time to cap off another amazing year together, and open the door to a brand new one, filled with new horizons and unlimited possibilities 🙂 We’ve been working hard to bring you our most ambitious experience to date. Here’s a preview of what’s to come, including all the ways you can participate in our event, expand your involvement in our community, give back to the world around you, and find some inspiration for the year ahead… ************************************************************************************************************ Resolutions: 2018 + Beyond NYE has always been a time to reset yourself and look ahead with a fresh outlook. It’s a time to reflect on who you have become and where you have arrived. It’s a time to set goals for where you want to go and which path you want to take to reach your potential. 2017 had a theme in Bassnectarland: REFLECTIVE – the idea that we are the magical sum of all the inspirations we draw from the world around us, and we in turn reflect this back into the world. Happy holiday! While you are hopefully enjoying some downtime with your loved ones (or your headphones), we thought you might enjoy some new music to share 🙂 Here’s the next piece of the Reflective puzzle: Naux Faux – Psyopia (Bassnectar Remix) Naux Faux is a new Bassnectar side project with long-time collaborator Sayr, it’s a throwback to a long-lost era of deep, mystical electronic music: analog synths, shimmering sounds, pulsing chords, chopped up breaks… A tribute to the magical days of the side room, the sunrise set, the discovery of new spellbinding frequencies… Fans of “Mesmerizing the Ultra” will likely find special delight in this… Although the finishing touches are still being added to the Naux Faux EP (thank you to all patient trainspotters!), we couldn’t resist including this remix of Psyopia on Reflective Part 2. It rounds out this 2nd chapter so nicely, and offers a glimpse of things to come… So please, enjoy!
